This week on the Girls 4 Greatness podcast I have the honor of chatting with a woman who is all about greatness. Not only is this woman passionate about how she can share her own greatness with the world in her own unique way, but she is also passionate about how she can inspire and motivate our youth to do the same.

Dr. Kelly Daugherty has worked in the field of education for over 18 years.  Dr. Daugherty was not only an instructor herself but she has also worked as a School Improvement Coach and was a key influencer in ensuring that teachers implemented differentiated instructional strategies into their classrooms. She has also served as a grade-level chair and was a member of both her building and her district leadership teams. Dr. Daugherty is now the CEO of Transitions Educational Consulting, a business that guides other educators in implementing instructional strategies that bring the educator and student closer by allowing the educator to approach education in their own unique, authentic way.

I know you will be inspired by hearing Dr. Daugherty‘s journey of how she became a CEO of her own business and perhaps even more by her take on why it is so important to be curious about those unsettled feelings we sometimes encounter in life. Dr. Daugherty is a shining example of someone who chose to do things differently, even if all the answers of how to do them were unknown. She is a tremendous example of how focusing out with intention and excellence can truly make a lasting impact.
